Oxford is a university city in England, approximately 56 miles northwest of London. The University of Oxford is the oldest university in the English-speaking university world, and has varied English architectural styles.

Referring to the architecture of England encompasses modern and historic architecture. Besides Anglo-Saxon architecture, the majority of non-vernacular architecture used in England before the 1900s actually originated elsewhere in western Europe.

During the mid to late 19th century, High Victorian Gothic architecture is seen as a subset of this Gothic Revival style. It was primarily derived from John Ruskin. A famous example of this style of architecture is St. Pancras railway station.

St. Pancras is a central London railway terminus and is located on Euston Road. It is the central starting place of the Eurostar services for London to Belgium, France, and the Netherlands.
